hecter wrote:Get a good cage! Some of them are clever little bastards and get out easily. Also, from my experience, they LOVE those little hamster balls. But make sure you have all stairs blocked off! They WILL go down them! It's nice if they have a little box to make a house in, and put in some tissue paper as well, for them to tear up and such... Also, don't put them in your room. They chew on the cage at night and it makes an awful sound that can keep you awake...

I learnt that last tip at the cost of a nights sleep Only it was the squeeky hamster wheel. In the end i used a piece of cardboard to block the wheel

I put my hand in the tank and she stood on her hind legs (on the other end of the tank) and flashed razor sharp fangs at me. Hamster ball? Yeah I got one, any suggestions about getting her in it?

Don't be a pussy, grab her, and shove her in it.

Nothing, it died when it was 8 years old. Well I was very young when I had it, I probably pettet it the wrong way (as far as fur is concerned), maybe forgot to feed it now and then..hecter wrote:Ariel* wrote:I had a guinea pig once..
What did you do to it (presumably to please your mom... )
