Well now... obviously I was joking about one of my claims. Which one do you think I am? (Hint: which thread is in Flame Forums)

Oh yeah, and regardless whether you believe I am Jouko Ahola, my birthday is 1 December 1970, which would put me at 36, not in my 40's...

bench - 225 lbs - about 5-6 reps MAX out with a spot.

deadlift - 225 lbs. - about 8-10 reps strength, 6 on 6 set exhaustion

free squat - 185 lbs. - 8-10 reps, parallel to the ground

:)
People teach their dogs to sit, it's a trick. I've been sitting my whole life, and a dog has never looked at me as though he thought I was tricky.

Cool. A nice balance of internal and external energies. D'you play a lot of pushing hands in Tai Chi? I'm totally addicted to chi sao (sticking hands) and doc sao (analytic hands), I play one or the other whenever I get the chance.

Quality. Here's a photo of me and my family taken in 2001.

I've just read the thread about your impending operation. I think you should concentrate on the Tai Chi for a while before going back to the Shaolin style. It'll help your ligaments recover better.

yeah thats right. Or the capsule bone keeps escaping the ligaments.

On the left side the bone had been ground so much it was shattering so they put little metal clips on the bone and cut the ligament three times and shorten it and then sow it all back together.

Thats roughly it.

The doctors and surgeons use far to many syllables for me to be able to give you the details.

After almost any other workout you are sore from 1-2 days, but with squats & abs you can be sore for as long as a week
