But you're right that a player who doesn't use the forums at all wouldn't care at all about this.

kotaro i've been banned/suspended for "baiting in game chat" in a game in which i was playing. it happens. but i'm not digging that up, just stating that it happens. and furthermore, go read a few of the C&A forms on codeblue and you will see it is a pattern, and i applaud King for stepping it up against codeblue.
woodruff, even if you don't visit the forums, a ban sucks. you can't read or send pm's, tournaments are pretty much impossible to be involved in (luckily my partner was getting passwords so i could continue), you can't post on walls, rate players or read what others post on your wall. it just makes communication a bit more difficult. many banned players can be found in live chat, but you can also lose your priviledges in there, as the moderation is on the fly and you can find yourself bounced instantly (if the mods are around). plus, i'm sure if his game chat abuse continues, code could be stripped of premium or even suspended from the site. you know, the next steps.
