Both of these points are correct. We do in fact have more chance of hitting town than mafia. The alternative thinking, waiting till our odds are better, to thus better insure a hit on Mafia, correct? Here's where the logic breaks down. This game is about voting to Lynch someone, not, the town gets a free lynch everyday. The mafia gets to take 1 of us out everyday. The game starts out majority town, about 25% mafia, with maybe a neutral role or two. That's the only way Town has a chance to win. What do think is going to happen when the the ratio of Town vs. Mafia gets close to 50/50? Do you think the Mafia is going to vote themselves out? Hell no, and by then it will be too late to do anything about it.

Honestly, I have never played a game completely of Mafia. Autoload sent me a link to the flash tutorial. From there I joined up at mafiascum and it took me like 4 days just to get into a couple games. I'm on day 1 in all the them. So all in all, I know the rules. I just don't know what to look for yet.

Somebody pointed out that I'm just trying to get a townie lynched quickly for the sake of death. If that's true, why the hell did I pick the guy with no votes on him. I coulda just hopped on someone with 1 or 2 and been that much closer. Instead I picked the 1 guy RK, that had no suspicion on him, up to this point. Based on his earlier post of this alleged joke:

All in all, I still believe lynching randomly, myself included, is better than no lynch at all. I applaud those to take decisive action in voting where you feel your suspicions lay, rather than idley sitting back. "If", that was for you MB, I'm comfirmed town, just make sure you use the same aggression towards those who found me suspicious. Watch the voting records. Especially if I get close to lynch and a couple of no-lynchers suddently change their mind.

Ny, I voted you b/c you hadn't posted yet, which I clearly stated. Now that you have posted, unvote Ny, because you seem less scummy now that you posted. btw, mafia can bandwagon at any point, not just at the end... most seem to jump on in the middle from what I've seen.

For the record, I told RK to shut up b/c joking around is what has almost screwed up other games here. That's why Andy has a "no joking" rule in his mafia games. You can check that out, it's on page 1 of all his games.

First off I just FOS him due to his quotes as well as anyone else that posted suspicously. could I be a God Father? Where did you get that? I honestly want to know. You claim your noobness yet you know of roles that only veterans would know of? Why is that?
