You should read what Jesus wrote. You might learn something.
If someone "claims" to follow Christ they should never, under any circumstances "shed blood" but maybe if YOU read what Jesus wrote you'd know that.

LOL, both of you idiots think Jesus wrote anything.
The Book of Jesus was mysteriously absent from the Bible I read as a kid. Maybe you found a copy?
Im sorry, are you saying that Jesus couldn't write?
I agree, the bible only includes what other people wrote about what he said...but he never wrote anything....ever???
Ok. I guess im the idiot.

Yup, jay_a2j's response together with your post was pretty hilarious
Anyway, the good habits (for instance not killing people) Jesus advocated should be taught to people by their parents. Instead of telling people to read the Bible and 'learn something', I would rather urge people to discuss what's wrong and what's right with friends or family.
What do you feel is normal human behaviour, and do you think you need the Bible to keep you and others displaying that behaviour?
Um, actually yours is pretty funny too, since you kind of missed the whole point and clearly misunderstood. I myself hardly think you need the bible to guide your actions. However, since Jay does use the bible, and profess to worship Jesus who he feels is God, its more than reasonable to suggest that he is out of line when discussing war, or the taking of human life, especially since he was justifying it.
You seem to have just gotten a little confused simply because of a quick word choice that pimpy picked up on when I said Jesus wrote, rather than "people wrote what Jesus supposedly said"
I do however think that most of the preaching of Jesus are actually pretty solid morals to live by. My own moral ideas are based on them completely, and the fact that I dont happen to believe he is God, does not make me question the morals that seem to be self evident.
