Now
that's comedy! Both the book itself and your reaction.

I believe that introducing children to politics of ANY ilk is wrong.
Let kids be kids...they will have plenty of time later to become party lemmings.

i especially like the second sample page that lovingly shows a smiling squirel protecting her own children while watching and elephant heading for an unfortunate man in the street
The republicans will modify the story to show the republican mommy putting her chipmunk child atop the elephant, and say" republican mommies empower their children so they can take control of situations....
crazy people are all the same...democrat or republican
and kool back, im gonna have to get the link for the why your sister...
whenever you get a chance

I saw that before. I got into an e-mail debate with the author. It's still going.
Children, this is what happens to hockey players, druggies, and Hillary Clinton.

politics is everywhere, and children will get influenced regardless, we should acknowledge that... but also seek to minimize it, I don't like this book.

Who gives a toss whether someone is daft enough to buy this book for their kids? Wittingly or otherwise, people indoctrinate their kids in their religions, their morals, their habits, everything else - it's just a fact of life. So why worry if they seek to influence their politics?
Having said that, I'm pleased to see the illustrator drew nice red squirrels, and not those nasty grey ones.

if my girlfriend and I wouldnt have aborted all of our children, I would have bought them that. Maybe, I wont abort the next one, just so they can see it.
The democrat book stopped abortion.

I think I might write a book.... Why Daddy Is A Republican.
Page 1.... Because Daddy isn't lazy, just like Republicans!
Page 2.... Because Daddy believes in WORKING for a living, just like Republicans!
page 3 ... Because Daddy believes social programs cost too much and most are not needed, just like Republicans!
page 4.... Because Daddy believes self-pride is more important than gay pride, just like the Republicans!
Feel free to add on some other ideas for the book. And what animal should be used? Maybe a Lion and his cubs?

Post was so dumb that I thought it was happy sad fun....
The thing about this book is, it is thing that children are taught and just groups them with the democrats..
Children couldnt give a rats ass about social programs.

I was thinking more along the lines of Lemmings led by a Monkey.

Daddy makes sure our homes are safe, just like the Republicans.
