Where do you score on the political compass?

Post by happysadfun »

http://politicalcompass.org/questionnaire

Post your graph here. You have to copy it all into word, then into paint. for me it didn't work straight into paint.

Post what parties and people you are similar to, from that site, if you wish.

Image

Similarities

USA- Republican Party
New Zealand- Destiny or National Party
UK- Right between Labour and Conservative
Germany- CDU
Canada- Closest is the Conservatives, but they're still to far left and too far down. If I move there I'll start a party :)
EU Country- Poland
Famous Person- Margaret Thatcher

why am i not surprised that you are right wing, and believe in state control of society? i coudl have told u that without the quiz.

I dont' knwo about this Y axis, i favor tighter state controls for some things, but i believe they have no right to interefere with other things. They shodul show a graph or something instead.

You lot care too much about politics. End of the day, everyone'll f*ck you over. Just in a different way. Accept it.

Couldn't get it to copy right but ---

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 3.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.46

LIBERTARIAN

Right about where I expected it to be.

Looks like it's right on top of Gandhi...and The Green Party in almost all of the listed countries.

The further left you are, the more you believe in state-controlled economy. The further right, the more you believe in a free economy. Up is less personal freedoms, down is more. So a full libertarian would be on the bottom right corner.

I'm not exactly sure how they got Gandhi's spot there, i think i got pushed more libertarian because i believe Marijuana should be legalized in addition to religious freedoms. I don't know how they got Gandhi's stance on drug use.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -8.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.82

You can count where I am on others graphs..

Found it:

I'm right on the greens for Britain... and semi close to the old labour party

Greens in NZ

Farther down than the left and greens in germany.

Farther down than the new democrat and the quebecan party in canada

With all those peace things Gandhi was rambling about? He must have been on something.
