Who is the best mapmaker of all time?

Top tier is oaktown, cairnswk, RjBeals, WidowMakers, mibi, qwert, DiM and gimil, in no particular order.

Honorable mention to MrBenn, and pepperonibread. And yeti_c for coding 20+ maps

I guess you could go to the Medals page and look at the map category to see all of those who have helped make a map(s).

Anyway, I vote WidowMakers for the best graphics.

Map and Mapmaker Information

Just select the mapmaker and you can see all of their maps.

I want to vote for DiM, because he made Age of Merchants, and changed the face of the game, but then he went and made Age of Realms. Bold vision, but not particularly decent maps. Therefore I will not vote.

RJ for pure graphics. Widowmakers for the overall though (good themes, creative gameplay and graphics). I'd probably give mibi/Benn/gimil/jota the awards for overall after WM

Cairns wins for creativity and uniqueness. No doubt a lot of thought goes into the complex gameplay of many of those maps. I just personally prefer simpler maps that don't need lots of instructions, and most cairns maps play like a completely different game :)
