Let someone else use your account when you are away for days? I'm not talking about starting new games, just limiting the annoying missing turn and making others wait 24 hours each time.
Of course, a) the someone else would not be playing against you in those games and b)announcing this in game chat would be good manners, too.
It's no big deal to let a friend take your turns for a day or two, but you do so at your own risk. If your friend has his/her own account and continues to use yours, then your friend effectively has multiple accounts and they will be punished for violating rule #1.
You should definitely announce it in the game chat to avoid trouble.
I have done it once on a weekend...you do indeed have to trust the person you have helping you out and make sure they understand your playing style......

On the other hand, if they don't have their own separate accounts, it seems there's nothing in the rules prventing two (or more) people from all sharing one paid membership. As long as they could figure out whose games were whose, that'd let them all get unlimited games. Although they wouldn't be able to play against each other.
Bumping this up b/c I don't agree.... let's say you're in the SAME GAME (standard, not team) with the person whose account you're "taking over" for the weekend. You've basically made yourself as multi, since you get two turns and I'm sure you won't attack "yourself".
