my god =-= i think i got this forum thing figured out =-= if that little bell thing is orange in color there is a new post i just would re read each post to see if there was one this will cut done the amount of time in the forum and i can play more games

The trouble with phpBB is that it's not really reliable. Sometimes, if you take too long to read everything, new stuff gets marked as not new anymore without you having seen it. And on the other side, if you open several posts in quick succession, sometimes only some of them will be marked read.

The former issue can be a particular problem here, because logging in to take your turns automatically logs you into the forum. If you don't check the forum fast enough after checking your turns, then the forum will log you out, and you'll lose all the new posts that were waiting.

phpbb isn't that bad, It'll work most of the time how you need it to, you just also need to keep a close eye on the important threads your reading
