Map of mongolia

This is the frist stage of the map any ideas on where to go from here? I really don't know how to organize the terrotorys or what to name them.

What time period do you want this map to portray? Figure out what theme you want and then go from there. For example 1400 A.D. with the warring factions, or if you want maybe a map depicting the empire of Genghis Khan.

I can give you some ideas, but first it would be good to know where you want to go with it.

We already have a mongolia map. Yours would need to be significantly different from that one.

Mongol Empire != Mongolia. Genghis Khan is somewhat covered by the other mentioned map, so I would suggest either a Present Day portrayal or the Warring Factions idea suggested by isaiah.

Perhaps a focus for this map could be when Mongolia broke away from Manchu China? It would allow for the current modern borders without being another standard country map.

I think mongolia claimed independence in the time right before WWI when a lot of countrys were..

I think China tried to reclaim it or something... A lot of good history and fighting then in that time frame.

All this is a FAt "I think" I could be wrong.
