what if someone goes to 0 points? i see benjij has 189 points. what happens then?

if someone has a score of 0 they can't get any points because any number divided by 0 is an illogical number!

It's impossible to get a score of zero. Aside from the fact that a person would most likely give up after so many losses, the amount of points lost decreases on a curve.

But they round losses, so it is still possible. But you are right about the giving up thing.

i dont think i have ever played against BENJI but i dont understand is it really possible to loose as often as he/she does unless you try to loose?

if you have a score of 1890, and you beat him. beating him would mean you get .1 points. If it rounds up, you only get one point. If it rounds up it means that he loses at least a point meaning its possible to hit zero. i dont think you can get any point from him if your over 950 (if my math is correct). -shrug- Someone should start an account (preferrable by someone who's a premi) and just try to lose against games with yourself and a friend who's willing to help.

i can't find a terminator game where benjij was eliminated by another player.

Also, a side question, if you lose in a sequential game, how are the points that you individually lose calculated?

Assuming that the points are rounded off normally (.5 up, .4 down), in order for someone to lose that last point and go to zero, they'd have to lose to someone with only 40 points:

(1/40)*20=.5 which rounds up to 1
thus 1 minus 1

So you'd pretty much need TWO tanking accounts to get to zero.

At which point, if you won, you'd probably give the software a heart attack.

(hopefully I didn't brainfart the math... never was my strongest subject)

Just bc someone is from Halifax does not make them french! That's like me saying if you're from USA you're a war monger. Quebec is french not Nova Scotia. The French want to seperate and i'd be glad to let them. Maybe then uneducated people will stop thinking Canadians are all french.[/code]
