I'm finishing game of thrones now. Obviously there are some pretty obvious copy right issues but this would make such a great map. Especially for people who have read the books. Maybe names could be changed, I don't know. I don't really plan on doing this map myself but I figured I might as well take advantage of the drafting room melting pot separation by just throwing this out there.

This has been brought up many, many, many times before. There seems to be support for it, and I think there was at one point permission granted from Mr. Martin. Nobody has been able to complete it as of yet.

Here are just a handful of the threats pertaining to a Westeros map. There are probably others as well. Doing a forum search for "Westeros" turns up 10 pages worth of results.

I still think it is a great idea, and I think a lot of other people do too, but it seems to have trouble taking off.
