I was in a three player game and lost to a multi. I posted it in the cheating thread and they got busted. I had a question that wasn't answered there though. Since I lost my points to a multi, do I get my points back? Or are they gone for good?

most multis are caught after playing several games.
thus they modified let's say the scores for 10 people which in turn played with another 50 people and so on.

recalculating the scores would be nearly impossible.

Well, not impossible, but not worth the effort involved, although I bet a good recursive function could take care of it. (Unless they don't keep very good logs, then it might be impossible.)

We plan to make 'busted' multis deadbeat in the future, thus negating this problem, I believe.

Possibly a daft question, but surely once a multi is busted, the account is locked, so just change the password immediately - yes it creates 24 hour delays, but could force deadbeating without writing any new programming immediately, and guarantees the nulti cant win any games.

in fact i think the site should addapt the following:

if you are accused of being a multi, it is the multi hunters job to send you both a pm and email.

as the accused, you have 24 hours to answer the email from the time you log on next. meaning your accused monday night and you are sent the email tuesday morning. then lets say you log on at 11 am. you have 24 hours to respond from 11 am monday 11am tuesday. on tuedsday at 11:01 ir there about. if you have not responded then you are presumed guilty and immediately termed from the site.

here is why. if you are accused and get a formal pm-- from a multi hunter. you should have no reason not to be able to respond. its pretty simple. and its fair. if you cant defend your actions with in 24 hours or at least acknowledge that your actions are with in the guidelines of cc. then good ridence!

Not a good idea eddy, there are a LOT of false accustaions, and just because someone doesnt reply in 24 hours doesn't make them guilty.
We have some ideas coming soon for multis and deadbeats, just be patient.

eddy I confront alot of alleged multis in chat or in game or wherever. Most lie. So why do you think a PM would change that?
