Concise description:
Ive been unable to begin my turn in a route 66 ( 9067427) game which Ive won for the last 22hrs as the "processing log" box keeps popping up and I can get no further. The other party may be cheating and has confirmed this in another game. All other games are ok

If you use BOB, then holding objectives causes this issue. The only way I know of how to fix that is to turn off BOB and take a turn.

However, you don't seem to be using BOB...

It was my understanding that the Processing Log message only came from BOB.

I did know about this, it has been happening to me for about 3/4 months and I almost made a topic about it. After thinking about it, I decided I liked it because even if I was in a rush or not paying attention I would know that someone held the objective. My solution is to fire up firefox and take my turn.
