I think its constructive. The only time it would be useful to know is if you are running a tournament as people who can't be in an unlimited number of games really slow things down.cicero wrote:It kinda worries me that the one unconstructive contributor to this, quite reasonable, conversation thread is the moderator?wicked wrote:why does it matter to you if someone else is premium? it doesn't affect you in any way.
That's exactly why I was asking. I've started playing tournaments and been in situations where I've been waiting days for players to join my team. I presumed it was becuase they weren't premium but was curious to see if there was a way to check.Coleman wrote:I think its constructive. Moderators are here to make sure that everyone else is not surly or impolite, but have no need to be this themself!cicero wrote:It kinda worries me that the one unconstructive contributor to this, quite reasonable, conversation thread is the moderator?
I'm assuming Wicked's point is that Premium players should be treated the same as non-premium in a game... thus there's no need to know why... however as pointed out it can generally be found out if they are or not.bigbullyweedave wrote:That's exactly why I was asking. It's called sarcasm or irony. I can assure you that it's not harmful (despite what your mum may have told you) so you don't need to be worried.cicero wrote:It kinda worries me that the one unconstructive contributor to this, quite reasonable, conversation thread is the moderator?wicked wrote:why does it matter to you if someone else is premium? it doesn't affect you in any way.
