Women's World Cup

Post by AndyDufresne »

I couldn't find an existing topic about this, so I apologize if I overlooked one.

I just caught some of the New Zealand and Japan game, with Japan as the victor 2-1.

It looks like England vs Mexico is up right now, just starting.

I watched the opening match, between the home-team, and tourney-favourites, Gemany, and Canada. I was quite happy to see the 2-1 loss for Canada. It would have been nice to come out of the game with a with point, but any better result would've been a huge shock to the soccer world.

Didn't catch the game (as I don't like soccer) but saw the highlights and the elbow that broke the captain's nose. She came back on and scored a goal (first one Germany has given up in quite some time from what the announcer said). She was almost hockey-esque in that game.

Gotta ask...is there as much diving in women's soccer as there is in men's?

Tons of that shit. Loads of mug runching lesbians. Pity. If there were more straight birds playing professional sport and getting somewhere - I might watch more women's sport. But it's chock full of the sort of lesbians that you don't see in porn. You know - the proper fugly ones. :(

In my somewhat considerable experience, no.

Playing right now.

I can't believe N. Korea has a 16 year old on their team, two 17 year olds.

I hate tennis, womens tennis is even worse. today at work they had the tennis on telly and that fucking Sharapova is one annoying cunt with that weird noise makes each time she hits the ball. She makes the noise even when the shot is straightforward. I went out for a load of smokes to get away from the poxy noise.

You know guys, there is already a thread to post 'Hot & Sexy Pics' of women so you can jerk off to - This thread is supposed to be about the Women's World Cup -

I can't believe that women are so sexualised that even when attempting to start a legitimate thread about a world cup, that lesbian remarks and girls in skimpy clothing gets posted.

You guys can all go and get fucked

Probably the funniest thing that I could have read imagining it as a British rant.

Hahaha I've naturally just started ignoring all the grunting. I enjoy watching it though. And I like women's tennis because the American men are fucking awful (Andy Roddick is our best player and he's still terrible).

I remember he was a 5 good minutes guest on PTI like two years ago because he just wrote a book and then he fell off the planet tennis-wise. He's bad as well.

One of the worst (non) desicions by a referee in a football match

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34D5X62guOI

Otherwise, the women's world cup has been good - The girls don't roll around on the ground like pussys as much as the men seem to, and play with a better attitude than many of the pre-madonnas that populate the male game.

if this happened in men football, even in a less important event than world cup, media won't stop talking about it. took them long time to forget how Terry Henry used hand to to help france score against Ireland in the 2010 world cup qualifier.

I watched the US vs. Columbia, will probably watch the last group match on Wednesday.

I agree, much less diving than in the Men's WC. Also, the women seem to be more unselfish, especially around the goal on offense, much more passing than the 1v1s that the men tend to like, which usually doesn't end well for the attack.
