Final Round Warning

I propose a small (final round) text which notifies players in the game that they are playing their last turn.

I have created a few examples with some possibilities to where the text should go. (please disregard the fact that it isn't actually the final round in this game, these are just examples)

The last round is often overlooked, especially in speed games.
This warning eliminates the possibility of the final round being overlooked, so that any players who are planning tactical moves or simply want to control the outcome of the game, will know that this is their last chance to do so.

I also think that the "begin turn" button could change to "begin final turn".

Part of me wants to agree with you. But a bigger part of me pictures Nietzsche screaming his head off that THIS particular new feature comes with a warning of sorts. Round limits are just another option. I can sort of see how they are different than other options, but I sometimes take a turn in a game forgetting that it's adjacent forts or nuke spoils or trench warfare or any of the settings that I don't play regularly. All that information is down there at the bottom of the map. I kind of think it's your responsibility to go take a look at it.

I like this idea, played a few games now where players have been caught out, not knowing it was the last round to play.

I'm torn. I like the idea of being user friendly, but at the same time you should be able to pay enough attention to not need lots of warnings/notices/etc. Like what agentcom said, you have all the info there, you need to take advantage of it. If you can't, then the player that pays more attention to the game has an advantage.
