READ THE RULES (SERIOUSLY)
For all players
1. I / am the real mod, you must adhere to these rules or be mod killed/replaced for real.
2. When I am referring to, or speaking as the player character “the mod” I will do so in blue and italics
3. Do not quote any PMs you receive from me, you may state the contents in your own words.
4. You must be active, this is a game largely based on posts, and the failure to post in a timely manner without notification will not be tolerated.
5. All votes and unvotes must be in bold to count, I will not strictly require unvotes to vote again.
6. The dead may not talk at all until the game has fully ended, not even a 'GL town', 'damn' etc.".
7. No player is to discuss the game outside of this thread with anyone but me, feel free to ask any questions
8. You may, and are encouraged to, talk during the night, it is the only time when “the mod’s” rules do not apply
9. Lynches are semi forced, but a guaranteed outcome requires the players, the only way to lynch a player is for the majority of the living players (1/2+1) to vote for said player. The only way to guarantee no lynch will occur is for the majority of the living players (1/2+1) to vote “no lynch”. If neither of these outcomes happens by the deadline I will take the player with the most votes on them a 50/50 chance of dying. A tie will result in one player randomly being chosen. No votes counts as a tie between all players
10. Each game day will last 7 real life days, each night 3 days, no extensions.
11. Do not edit or delete any posts
For the mod
1. By joining/remaining in this game you agree there is a chance you will be chosen as the mod and agree to all rules below
2. Inactivity is unacceptable, as the mod you must be creative, sadistic and active in harassing these poor souls
3. I will require very complex actions from you every night, you must at the very least be able to come up with fresh rules once a game day
4. If there is even the slightest chance you are unable to make a future deadline for your actions, PM me, we can work things out in advance
5. I will not allow this game to be meta gamed by activity, if the mod is inactive I will be forced to use the random wheel of misery to non-biasedly choose their actions for them, then replace them as I would any player
6. Your rules and PRs may not break the game, they must not be excessively demeaning and they must allow the players to communicate legibly
Example of an Unacceptable list of rules
1. Players may not use the word “vote”
2. PR: Jak must post in backwards Spanish Morse code
3. All posts must contain at least 25 different colors
Example of an Acceptable list of rules
1. Players must substitute the word “vote” with the word “boat”
2. PR: Jak must place a comma between each of his words
3. All “boats” must be in pink
7. It is up to you to enforce your own rules, if you want to "modkill" someone for breaking them, you must PM me a link to the exact post they made where they violated your rules, if you are correct I will post a "modkill".
8. Rules are only effective only for the game day they are posted, you may not repeat rules or PRs between game days.
9. The mod will PM me 3 rules/PRs for the first day, this number will increase by one each game day to a maximum of 10.
