[UI] Move or Flash the Chat when new message is posted

I have to constantly scroll down to see if someone has posted a chat. Can you move the chat higher, or have a chat box that will flash closer th the map? Just a thought, Steve

I'm already pissed off enough by the fact that the focus goes back to the chat when I click on begin turn or hit "b" to begin my turn.

It's too inconvienent to constantly scroll down to see if someone responded to your comment. Part of the game is communication with other players.

Or BOB gives option to put chat on top. I prefer it up there. I'd like to know who really wants it way down at the bottom.

This could actually get annoying for Speed players, or someone playing an rt Freestyle game. If you are trying to make your move, and the screen always moves down to focus on the Chat area, it could get VERY frustrating.

also could be abused. say your in a speed freestyle game and you just messed up. now your an easy kill unless you can survive the turn and cash on your next turn. if the screen focus on chat for everyone in the game whenever you type something you could simple spam chat till your next turn as a way to stay alive and from what i know about CC rules spamming game chat is ok

Yes, I agree. It can't effect game play. If they can't move it, just put a little bar that says "Chat" and have just the bar flash when someone types something. Then each person has the option to scroll down. If they don't want to, they don't have to. But at least you will know if someone is saying something.

oh god that's the worst. And then you scroll up without even thinking and it happens again.
