Yep - definitely needs it. The map almost looks like something landgrab would have

we have to be pretty careful with revamps don't we? I mean with the Middle East all we could do is update the graphics.

I don't think we should overhaul these older maps. Maybe just an update would suffice?

All i want to do is update the graphics. I personally really like the montreal map and have no desire to change anything but graphics. same as middle east.

I understand that... I am just curious because the San Fansisco map's style is nothing like Montreals? I know the middle east still resembles the old map. The two different graphical styles wouldn't have that resemblence would it?

I don't know, I could be totally wrong. What does everyone else think? I would love a revamp of this map.

actually i think it would be in quite a similiar style...i was going to use a satellite photo and transparencies on top...I would not be doing it from a 3/4 view like SF...but same style of satellite + transparent colors.

I love the map the way it is now. It doesn't need a revamp.

I'm hoping to have the revamp announcement ready soon. I'm just waiting on feedback from Andy and Lack about the details and then we can go ahead and get started.

To disagree, I'd very much like to see this revamped. Played a few games and it seemed like a very playable map let down by poor graphics.
