GOPCARE (Orin Hatch - 2013)
- Prohibit insurance companies from discriminating against people with preexisting conditions.
- Allow insurance companies to charge extra to people who disenrolled from health insurance for more than 60 days.
- Everyone who didn't have insurance and made under X$ would be auto-enrolled in a "catastrophic" plan

HILLARYCARE (Hillary Clinton - 1993)
- Require everyone to purchase health insurance from a health insurance corporation under penalty of law.
- Prohibit health insurance companies from disenrolling anyone, even if they stop paying

OBAMACARE / ROMNEYCARE (Mitt Romney / Barack Obama - 2004 / 2008)
- Prohibit insurance companies from discriminating against people with preexisting conditions.
- Allow insurance companies to require everyone purchase one of their products.
- Allow adults to remain covered by their parents plans until age 26.
- Lower the income threshold for Medicaid eligibility.

SCHWEITZERCARE (Brian Schweitzer - 2012)
- Everyone who is ineligible for private health insurance due to preexisting conditions can pay to enroll in Medicare.
- abolish Medicaid; replace with state nationalized pauper's hospitals for those who would otherwise use Medicaid

UKCARE (Clement Attlee - 1948)
- nationalize all hospitals

The only reason health care costs are so high is because on the supply and demand curve, the price for demand is not fixed by consumers, but by mega-insurance companies.
