New Map Templars

It is February and I am pleased to announce that we have a new map that has just dropped :shock: It has been in the works for a while and I think you will all enjoy it especially if you like a complex strategic map :D
You need to thank SoN!c for the hard work he put into the map, then I made the map live by writing the XML code :D There were also a number of players that helped test the map on the beta site that we also couldn't have made the map without.

This map is set on both Europe and the middle east area set roughly 800 years ago at the time of the Knights Templar, hence the name Templars. It has some of the strategic elements of a conquest map having you receive a number of nobles that can attack various sections of the map on their half. Though you do also get some territories within the east and west halves which makes it not a conquest map. There is no territory bonus to speak of just the basic 3 troops for any number of territories. Will you eliminate your opponents or go for one of the 2 objectives hold the nobles hostage or unite the temples!

This map is designed to rule out a early defeat due to a bad drop, bad dice in the first rounds or just going second.. so expect 20 rounds to win it on no spoils.

Tip: as soon the opponent(s) gives up and there is no resign button because of tournament or whatever the map has a quick +20 bonus (the entire templar fleet) to grab from the nobles to finish fast..

It is also a complex map so you will probably need 10 games to figure it out.
