That's a good question. Here it is indeed Zee zee.

That last clip suggests they use Zed zed in Japan.

However you might listen to them in your Zed28 Camaro.

Are Zed-Zed-Top still around? I only have a dim memory of them as one-hit-wonders with really long beards back in circa 1993.

(By the way, for the life of me, I can't remember the Zed-Zed-Top song, but in the music video, they were in a desert standing there with their guitars, and a car raced past them. I don't know if that'll help.)

They called the car the Eliminator and it belonged to Billy Gibbons. It was the theme of the album with the women.

ZZ Top are still touring......and they perform to 300,000 bikers every year at Sturgis South Dakota.....I've seen them there, in Florida,, in California, and also in Vancouver......a total of 11 times, over 25 yrs or so.......yep...they're still rockin.....I even have pictures of their cars, and the drummers bike. Once of my fave rockers.....long live the Top!........(and ya, as a Canuck, I jokingly call them "the Zed")

Your memory is somewhat lacking, in the UK they had several top 10 hits, around the mid-1980's.

I like their stuff from "Gimme All Your Loving" on, but before that they kind of suck.

out of the 20 or so albums of theirs I have, my fave is the rarest one: "ZZ Tops First Album".......because of course, it WASN'T their first album. They couldn't "sell" it to the labels, so put it away till after they finally got a contract, and had put out 3 or 4 albums for the label that signed them. Then they produced and released it themselves......little trivia for ya....

And ya, either La Grange, Tush, or Bell Bottom Blues are my fave songs by the Zed.
