If automatic renewal was made an option, would you use it?

automatically renew subscription

Post by Ramned »

Instead of having to manually renew our subscriptions, just have it automatically renew. If we wish to cancel, allow some option to cancel the membership. This would be pretty convenient I think.

That would be a bad idea. A lot could happen in a year, and who knows what your financial situation could be like in a year.

And, there are probably quite a few here who are barely teenagers and all of a sudden 20 bucks is taken from their bank account could be not good.

it takes all of 3 minutes to renew, if it was monthly this might be more practical, but lack allows us an awesome service for a thrifty price, and 3 minutes once a year is just plain bein lazy.

Make it an option.

You can either buy one year at $20 recurring every subsequent year, or just buy one year's worth non-recurring.

Since it adds on a year every time you buy premium, you have a lot of time to renew on your own, in that, at any time in the year, you can tack another year onto the end of it. I think adding automatic renewals would unnecessarily complicate things.

Any option where you are charged unless you cancel is illegal in some states and perhaps some countries. The reason is that too many people forget and then are charged for a service they don't want.
