Found this a while ago... handy for checking time where your opponent lives. Also shows weather for each place. pretty cool.

would it be a bad idea to suggest people who are in casual games, with something like 20 hours remaining, at this point, to ask them to wait as long as possible before taking their turn, to ensure the server downtime doesn't prohibit an ample window for taking the next turn?
have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head?
or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends?

Central time is -6 GMT so is the shutdown 4am-8am central time or 4am-8am eastern time (-5 GMT)?

Central Standard Time is GMT-6

Central Daylight Time is GMT-5

It is currently CDT.
