He is correct... it never happened. What actually happened is that Dancing Mustard stood next to the towers... opened his mouth and created disruption in the time space continuum causing the buildings to never have existed in the first place. In essence, he bored them out of existence.

Here in the States, the Chinese have bought up a lot of scrap steel, so much it is very costly to actually build anything with crap made locally.
