Post by Mr_Adams »

Note to tournament managment:
I sent a message to Lack, who sent me to Twill, who has read my message, but not responded. Since there was no response, I assume he had no major objections. So let's get this started!

flat rate
sequential
chained

round1: Age of Realms: Might
w/ Fog
4 players

round2: to be decided by poll
no Fog
4 players

Quarter-final round: Chinese checkers
no Fog
4 players

Semi-finals: Feudal

Final round: Africa

THE TWIST:

Secret Alliance are fair game, hence the title

So, I'm reading through this thread and all of the sudden I realize that you are encouraging the use of secret alliances, which is specifically stated as not allowed on Conquer Club. I know that Night Strike already told you doing such a thing is not allowed, and a decision by the Tournament Directors is pretty much as good as word from Twill in our area for the most part.

There is a PM coming your way, Mr_Adams, and until we converse, this one is going to have some fun partying with the Lockerbots for a little while.

Wait a second - daddy said no, so you ran to mommy and when mommy didn't say anything you assume that meant it was ok?

no no no.

When a TD says a tournament is against the rule it means exactly that. It does not mean, and will never mean, that Twill not answering the same PM a TD has already answered is an an overruling of the TD. [-X

We've turned down tournaments like this before because they can only cause headaches. The site rules are very very simple and to open tournaments with the specific intent of breaking those rules is opening up pandoras box. While I'm sure her box would be great fun for all involved, we'd rather not find out. 8-[

It sounds like fun, but we can't let ya run it here. Sorry.

Sorry for not answering your PM sooner, I assumed the fact that it had already been answered meant that it had already been answered.
