Conquer Club Civil War over the New map

Post by a.sub »

October 23, 2008 a few CC players are hanging out at A.Sub's Bar & Club just chatting over tactics, maps, styles, people etc. As they talked they got more into maps that they did and didnt like in maps, everything from looks to game play. As they talked an important topic came up, the Classic map. These two people started with a simple thing like "I hate the new look" and "the game play is the same calm down" etc. But then its starts getting heated, one guy pulls out a knife stabbing the pro new map to death. Seeing the action a con new map takes his stool and bashes the knife man down. Before anyone realized what had happened, all hell broke lose and people were beating each other over the new map. Soon the Moderators Police arrived and arrested the hooligans and they were forced to pay to restore my bar. Later in Jail, the Moderators, unknowing of the reasons behind the fight, just threw people in jail. Before they knew it a prison riot broke out, not against the Mods, but against each other, pro and con new map people were destroying each other, in the fight the Mods knew it wasnt worth the fight and just left. As word reached town of the Lack Bay Prison Riot, everyone from Cooks to Field Marshalls were fighting over this, and now we reach the climax of our story, the Civil war...

so here is how it will work, people who sign up must say what side they want to join, if one side has more thats how it will be. there will be "battles" by playing 4v4 games. i will release the pass word to one side at a time so that Pro and Con will be on the same side. if someone deadbeats that battle will be noted as "null" and the out come wont affect anyone, however each side can only have 3 nulls and after that they count. now after each game, everyone who is eliminated is "dead". everyone else returns to their side. So if out of the 4 v 4, one side loses all four and one side only loses 2, even though the second side won, the two who died will still be ranked as dead. these battles will continue until one side is completely exterminated, the side that is remaining wins the war. the way people will be chosen for battles is simple. after everybody sign up i will randomly organize the list of each side, then they play is turn. so for example if the random ranking of Side X is:
player 1
player 2
player 3
player 4
player 5
player 6
player 7
player 8
then in the first battle the first four will play (players 1 through 4) and lets say 3 and two died making it like this
player 1
player 2 DEAD
player 3 DEAD
player 4
player 5
player 6
player 7
player 8
then next round, players 5 through 8 play and lets say they won again but lost 8 making the rank like this
player 1
player 2 DEAD
player 3 DEAD
player 4
player 5
player 6
player 7
player 8 DEAD
then the next four living people will play, in this case players 1, 4, 5, & 6

as for the type of game, well the first battle will be random, after that, th winner of the last battle gets to chose 3 and the loser gets to chose the one that they didnt pick. these pickable options are play order, reinforcements, Fog, spoils (cards).

NOTE: Because this tournament will have not have one decisive winner, rather one side as a winner, this will be unofficial, although i will consider making animated GIF's for people that will say who you fought for and if your side won. UNLESS i get special permission from the Mods to make this official even though it breaks a rule, i think they might since its only one rule

now with all of that who thinks this idea is good? please vote and only comment if you have something constructive, although the occasional "YOUR IDEA IS $#@%ing RETARDED!!!!!!" is welcome
