Would be great!Joodoo wrote:nah I think the current system for tournament medals is fine
but if this does get approved, you might wanna suggest the same thing for map-making medals
Great idea. Then there are just the 3 medals.sailorseal wrote:Make it so 10 is bronze, 20 is silver and 30 is gold. 1-9 will remain the wooden color.

true, trueOptimus Prime wrote:If a change were to be made to the medals, there are far better ways to do it than simply changing the color of the ones they currently get. That doesn't make it any different than it is right now. People will still make the same number of tournaments just to get the medals, regardless of the requirements.
Aren't you leaving the site? and whats the deal with ahting on all the TDs? If I hate a mod I don't just BS about them. It gets you no where...Kotaro wrote:HAHA
Not going to happen. Some of us put large amounts of effort, time, and creativity into our tournaments, and the Tournament Directors aren't going to ass f*ck us like that.
Haven't you been taught how to read? I said the TD's wouldn't f*ck us in the ass with your suggestion. And for the record, flame(baiting) the mods gets you the attention of Twill, actually.sailorseal wrote: Aren't you leaving the site? and whats the deal with ahting on all the TDs? I don't believe he was hating on the Tournament Directors at all.sailorseal wrote:Aren't you leaving the site? and whats the deal with ahting on all the TDs? If I hate a mod I don't just BS about them. It gets you no where...Kotaro wrote:HAHA

Sounds like a TD thanking Kotaro for his comment...Night Strike wrote: And Kotaro, tournament people like to keep things civil.
I think it was actually a form of a friendly warning, lets try a little harder next time.sailorseal wrote:Sounds like a TD thanking Kotaro for his comment...Night Strike wrote: And Kotaro, tournament people like to keep things civil.
Because they are the best of friends...blakebowling wrote:I think it was actually a form of a friendly warning, lets try a little harder next time.sailorseal wrote:Sounds like a TD thanking Kotaro for his comment...Night Strike wrote: And Kotaro, tournament people like to keep things civil.

In fact, I beileve he was complimenting them.

Geez, this really shouldn't be that difficult to figure out. Kotaro WAS complimenting the Tournament Directors by saying he didn't believe they wouldn't take such an action against the Tournament Organizers. The fact that Night Strike gave him a friendly warning is likely BECAUSE he recognized that Kotaro wasn't insulting the Tournament Directors.sailorseal wrote:Because they are the best of friends...blakebowling wrote:I think it was actually a form of a friendly warning, lets try a little harder next time.sailorseal wrote:Sounds like a TD thanking Kotaro for his comment...Night Strike wrote: And Kotaro, tournament people like to keep things civil.
A friendly warning is not

I've chosen to completely disregard any post that sailor makes in the future, as most of his posts show how clueless he really is.Woodruff wrote:Geez, this really shouldn't be that difficult to figure out. Hell, Kotaro and I don't even remotely get along, but you're wrong to say he was hating on the Tournament Directors.

If someone spends a YEAR or more in hard and honest working, just to wear a certain medal - why is it so certain they don't deserve it?Night Strike wrote:From my view, adding "ranks" to the medals would just cause more people to make minimum tournaments to get up to the gold coloring. That's not what we want.
A year? With that idea, someone could use the easy spam version, throw out 20 or so 16 person tournaments a week, and probably get them filled just as easily. They usually take about a week to complete. Easy medal. A year? As if.Zemljanin wrote: If someone spends a YEAR or more in hard and honest working, just to wear a certain medal - why is it so certain they don't deserve it?
It depends on people who make the rules. If they make them well, you'll have to spend a year for a gold...Kotaro wrote:A year? Until people start putting together shitty "long" tournaments just to get a medal. There will always be people that do the bare minimum just to get something shiny.sailorseal wrote:Then gold will be well earnedZemljanin wrote:It depends on people who make the rules.
