ILLEGAL GROUP [HANDING IN OF]

This is my 2nd game in Conquer club and i was asked if i wanted to hand in spoils etc, i tried to BUT game said it is illegal group as a fourth showed up and i may have clicked wrong, it is my turn, can anyone HELP me to cash in my group spoils please?

Uh, you can only hand in a group of three (one of all colors or one of all three colors).

So you have a mixed set, 1 green, 1 red, 1 blue, and you trying to hand in only those 3 spoils and you still get 'illegal group'? Are you trying to hand in more than 3 spoils?

It sounds to me like he's trying to hand in a set of all one color. Maybe 3 red?

The wording on the page is perhaps a little confusing. When you have the opportunity to collect spoils, you must check exactly three boxes: either three red, or three blue, or three green, or one of each colour. Then press the button.

to clarify what the others have been trying to say;

a) a "set" always consists of THREE cards, no more, no less. So if you've been trying to hand in for example two RED's thinking it's a set, it's not.

b) A set either consists of three cards of the same colour (example BLUE+BLUE+BLUE), OR one of each, a so called mixed set or "rainbow". This consists of GREEN+ BLUE+ RED.

Thanks everybody for your replies. Like I said I am new to CC and I do think I have been trying to hand in the wrong group. I do appreciate your help.
