What if they are two people in the same household who made accounts, and who play together? One joined quite a long time after the other one. One could have gotten the other into CC.

Flag is the same. What if IP is the same? I'm just curious, how would mod's differentiate a situation like this?

I just assume a multi account would be for some type of advantage, point dumping, ect.

When I was in graduate school, I lived with 5 guys and I set up our net under one modem with a router. If we played CC together it would have looked like a multi from the IP perspective.

It could tell them that they're NOT on the same IP address which would tell you that they are most likely just friends. If they are the same... Not sure how the mods would handle it.

that's why I sorta waited this long to submit anything. our game started over a week ago, but i figured i'd chalk it up to coincidence since nobody had even submitted them as being multis before and they've been around for a while (it's not like they just signed up). and both of them aren't very good, so i really didn't care too much - but someone else on my team caught on too, so i figured i'd say something now.

If they lived at the same house, they might have a router, which would let them both connect to the internet at the same time, under the same IP address.

So they came home and both decided to crank out some CC.

Just playing devils advocate, i've been in the situation before in a house with gamers. Just is kinda dumb they would pick names so close, though maybe they are family or something...

there are 5 different players at my IP address...we play games AGAINST each other but not with each other...Caeser's Wife= not only innocent but seen to be innocent...the only time we tag-teamed was against King Herpes when my 9yr old daughter whopped his ass...cost us the game but worth it for that alone...

Interesting how I can get in trouble making a valid point about the inability to decypher your posts in this thread, and therefore their lack of assistance in the case of Poffe and Poffe93, yet they let you flame away. (not that I care, but where's the consistancy?)

And apparently I'm not the only one who has difficulty seeing your posts as usefull.

What is the situation with this report anyway? I'm interested in the outcome because despite the way it looks, I genuinely think that they arn't multis.
