Re: [World Cities Contest] - Istanbul

it might be cool if you put some photos of some landmarks from istanbul in the picture, like polaroids scattered on the desk. it'd be a good way to reinforce the 'traveller-motif' while addressing some concerns of the map not having much cultural relevance.

just a suggestion.

Re: California 4.8

i think it looked fine before. either way it won't look uniform, and at least with old one it wasn't so smooshed together.

Re: Colonial Africa 1.6

Or option 3 which might make the most sense. Make Zululand a regular territory & make B.S. an Ottoman Landing point. This would give each European power exactly 1 Landing point. The only thing about that is that I lose a European connection to The South of Africa (unless I just wipe Gold Coast as a ...

Re: Colonial Africa 1.6

if it's 1914 you should mention that on the map somewhere imo. also since it's 1914, you might want to make morocco french, given IH's post.

also i like all the impassables, but it could be cool if the gray areas were unplayable or had some bonus value of their own, though how that would be done i ...

Re: Tokyo

just a few things i might add:

as far as rails go, at least a few of the lines would be cool, namely the yamanote loop and maybe the chuosen.

also, why didn't you include any of western tokyo? areas like chofu may not be included in the 23 wards, but they are still part of tokyo. and if you are ...

Re: Celtic 7 Nations v2.7

Well, I don't like the Braveheart photo

Waa???? you mean you don't like that??!!!! That was the best one! :D

You do realize that if you could use that, Mel Gibson would be after you.... scary, I know.

Eh... muted it fits better, but I don't see the the need for the dragons at all. How about ...

Re: Celtic 7 Nations v2.4

i'm inclined to agree with ender here. while the image of stonehenge was well executed, i just think that a visual representation of stonehenge takes away from the overall consistency of the map. it just takes too much attention away from the map itself.
