Suppose it was structured like the others are, ie. base amount for bronze (1 is good), 5 times that for silver, 20 times for gold. That'll keep anyone from having a gold for a while, but still make the bronze medal achievable.

The only problem is that these would have to be manual like the badge for running a tournament, so it might be hard to keep an accurate count since it isn't automatic. But I agree it would be cool.

This is just obvious. And it is also obvious that 1 win should be bronze, 5 silver and 10 gold. This is so obvious that I'm surprised why isn't it already done...and 15 platinum and 20 diamond
EDIT:
I also don't see a point of medal for posts. Near everyone's nick stands EXACT number of posts, so medal is just redundant...
And there are many spammers who shouldn't get a medal for posts, but something opposite...
Boss_oss_ss wrote:How about a Tournament winner Medal (don't know if its been suggested or not :S)??? it will make it easier to recruit players to tournaments and get alot more people involved!!!!

Without that, a win in a 2 game, 16 player tournament counts as much as one for a 30 game 144 player tournament.
1000 Score + 01 Medals = Average player
1500 Score + 05 Medals = Above Average
2000 Score + 10 Medals = Decent player
2500 Score + 15 Medals = Respectable player
2800 Score + 18 Medals = Very Good player
3000 Score + 20 Medals = Great player
3500 Score + 25 Medals = Super Elite player
4000 Score + 40 Medals = Awesome player
4500 Score + 45 Medals = Pinnacle of Excellence
5000 Score + 50 Medals = Versed + Skilled CC MASTER

Kotaro wrote:I disagree with this suggestion. People shouldn't be playing tournaments so they can "have the most medals", tournaments are supposed to be fun and competitive. This will invite that huge wave of people, deemed the "Blitz Wave", that will act like douches, ignore older tournament veterans advice, and make the game less fun for others, all because they want to "have the most medals". Then that leads to shit like this:1000 Score + 01 Medals = Average player
1500 Score + 05 Medals = Above Average
2000 Score + 10 Medals = Decent player
2500 Score + 15 Medals = Respectable player

Which makes newcomers believe that, if you don't have medals, or you don't have a certain points, than you're a failure at this game, which is entirely untrue.
If people took the time to look, there's always this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=89&t=56103
Just take a look at that thread for just a moment. Really look at it. Everyone who has played in a tournament and won is there. Every person that has decided they wanted to organize a tournament is there.
It has links to every winner and organizer. It has Tags to tell you what kind of tournament they won. It has links to the threads, the dates that the tournaments went to. It has all sorts of neat looking things, and diligent people updating it and making it look better all the time, and to give credit to everyone that has ever hosted or won a tournament. What is everyone's obsession with these medals? There are so many of them already, and they don't gauge your skill. They're not even that shiny or colorful to look at!

Optimus Prime wrote:No, Blitzaholic, now you are only doing it to try and catch up with the much better organizers who are still ahead of you on your precious "Top 5" lists. It's just too bad that you couldn't manage to be the first to do it, that really would have been something now, wouldn't it?
