Why: Someone can have 19 unique players killed in each type of game (Standard, Terminator, Assassin, Doubles, Triples, Quadruples) and not have any medals because they spread out too much, but they could have 114 unique kills

There should be medals awarded for tourny wins. The tourny organizer should submit the winners to CC and there should be a medals awarded for number of wins. Maybe 1-5 tourny wins gets a bronze; 5-10 gets a silver; 10+ gets a gold .... maybe special one given for more than that.

Currently you get the same medal for organizing either tournament that you mentioned and the 16 player tournament will be much easier to organize than the 144 player tournament as well.

I disagree with this suggestion. People shouldn't be playing tournaments so they can "have the most medals", tournaments are supposed to be fun and competitive. This will invite that huge wave of people, deemed the "Blitz Wave", that will act like douches, ignore older tournament veterans advice, and make the game less fun for others, all because they want to "have the most medals". Then that leads to shit like this:

2000 Score + 10 Medals = Decent player
2500 Score + 15 Medals = Respectable player

It has links to every winner and organizer. It has Tags to tell you what kind of tournament they won. It has links to the threads, the dates that the tournaments went to. It has all sorts of neat looking things, and diligent people updating it and making it look better all the time, and to give credit to everyone that has ever hosted or won a tournament. What is everyone's obsession with these medals? There are so many of them already, and they don't gauge your skill. They're not even that shiny or colorful to look at!

Exactly good point in theory but seems impossible in practice. How is this gonna work ? How a tournament win medal will be differnt from any other based on the tournament, how many ppl participated, if it was doubles triples or signles, ever terminator based or assasin ?

Also, should we ask if any particular player how s/he got his assasin medals ? For example, my assasin unique defeats, %30 of them are from assdoodles. Then i believe my assasin medal should look in some different way with the others who never played assdoodles....

Also, there are tournaments mostly low rankers participate and there are others in which very strong gamers appear. Differ this as well in the way of looking of the medal you will award the winner.
Utopic demands driving triptonic rides... Lol, there you go, we have 255 color in 8 bit color base... Assign tournament player number to the color code, then paint the medal in that color which corresponds to player number participated ?

What can be done

• Define a dragdrop menu in userprofile pages.
• Let tournament organizer(s) announce the winner(s) to tournament organizer OPs
• Give a privilidge to tournament OPs so that they will be able to edit winners profile, simply by adding the name and link of the won tournament in the winner's profile in the so called dragdrop menu

and leave it to the society to judge the quantities and qualities on the tournaments you won how many in number, how many players participated, if the tournament participants were majors or above in majority etc.
