I compose this message to notify the community that I apologize to one of the top 100 players in Conquerclub, demonfork.
Here's the story:
A long, long time ago the two of us used to be on good terms, in fact, we were buddies. We'd often call each other whilst taking (individual) baths. No, we didn't take baths together, but we coordinated 'bath time' so that we could chat about the days we've had. Then along game wicked Game 4181642 which tore our friendship in two. Demonfork, clearly the better player, was ousted in 20 rounds by his apprentice. The tides had turned, the winds shifted and the moons maligned.
The new rift was felt between these two friends as even the bedtime stories waned and ebbed away into the past. The lingering feud was so thick that it weighed heavily on both friends' shoulders and lay heavy in their hearts.
Then, one day, attempting to amend what had been cleft in twain, Beckytheblondie joined Game 5413702. This olive branch was taken by demonfork and ensuingly used to beat becky over the heat with. Demonfork proved his sovereignty. Becky's response was one of moral question. Becky thereafter, (recognize becky was heartbroken and had just been beaten by olive branch) went and 'tattled' on demonfork for using an auto-typer; for cheating. Becky posted in the forums and blabbed like a kindergartner. Becky was immature for telling on demonfork.
Here's where the interesting twist comes in to play, and where the apology stems from. Somewhere around this time Becky's good friend won a tournament that demonfork hosted. Becky was awarded the premium prize and free membership by this friend.
Demonfork bought Beckytheblondie a premium membership!
Becky clearly thought patches had mended what had been torn. Becky continued to tell anyone who would listen about demonfork how wonderful of a player he was and how he taught becky all his knowledge. Becky hoped for a forthcoming day in which the two could chat on ichat and make jokes about what Coach Curry wore to the track meet (shortie shorts).
No, no, no.... Becky misread the situation and soon found that Demonfork wanted all ties of this old friendship to be unwound; to be thrown off into a proverbial fiery pit of lava and fire and horns and demons and forks...
Game 5612157 came along and slapped becky in the face! Becky knew that demonfork (being one of the top 100 players on CC) liked having points and rank, and becky, using only the tricks learned from the master, himself, and the premium bought by the master, himself, defeated the him in brutal and fierce game.
The result is:
Demonfork taught becky many skills, demonfork purchased becky's premium and, becky, in turn, defeated demonfork for what will be the last time, and ultimately tragic end of this tale. Unless...
Demonfork will forgive becky for doing what, deep in the heart, becky knew what was wrong.... Becky will then give demonfork 100 Becky Points!
