I doubt you'll get much of a response.

How would you set it up? You mean like a football stadium?

from now on if your not going to make the map and are just suggesting it then it should go in the "map ideas-free to a good home" thread. This prevents this fourm from getting cluttered with pointless threads.

You could have a map of the US with logos of NFL Teams where there location is. Have black lines in between teams which could play each other and red lines between rivalries. Hold a rivalry and get +1 armies.

If no one else is going to I suppose I could probably see what I could come up with while I figure out Nato.

I could get it if I new how this works, but I did do it on paint once.
I went to http://www.cbs.sportsline.com and went to nfl/teams and a pic of the US came up with all of the teams. I took it to paint and drew the lines and rivalries etc. Try this if you want.

This would be very cool, and you would get bonuses for holding divisions and maybe minus armies for holding two rival team territories

Keep in mind that the names and logos of the NFL teams are copyrighted material and can't be used on a map without NFL/team permission.

Express written consent,

I was thinking more along the lines of a thumbnail of their stadium with the city they were from. And an outline of colour reflecting what division they're in. I'll draw up a draft by the end of the week... state inservice should give me plenty of time.

I wish the raiders were in LA, because fitting 2 teams that close will be harder than I'd like.

Geographical inaccuracy is acceptable in that case I think. They'll still need to be close.

Yeah, seems good to me. You may face a bit of resistance in having yet another American themed map.

But you could do one for Europe with their football later.

So Far it's pretty well liked and accepted as an Idea.

To Do List:

Finish rest of teams
Get some sort of background graphic to make the US and Canada less bland.

*off topic*
he probably just took a real world map or a map of the US, took his brush on 3px and went around the borders...than filled it with the brown colour and done...if you want to know more about photoshop or other problems we have a thread 'map making tools' and you can search for some photoshop tutorials along google...
