There was a well known loophole in freestyle games. If you were blocked from taking your turn because you ended the previous round, your opponents could wait until the last minute to play, shutting you out. Now the back-to-back turn block expires once the round is half over, so you'll still be able to play if your opponents wait.

I must take issue with this.

A. 12 hours is far too short a time frame...the whole point of a 24 hr clock is so you can log on once a day and play.
B. You cant just change game rules half way through play, one of my games has just been ruined because of this new implementation.

B. It would have been much more complicated to roll out for new games only

Fog Of War
According to Wikipedia, the fog of war is a term used to describe the level of ambiguity in situational awareness experienced by participants in military operations. Now you can turn up the ambiguity in your Conquer Club games with this radical new game option! The fog of war masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks territory and continent names in the log. Originally suggested by seraphesy back in Jan 2006. Enjoy!

Thanks for the update, but on the firefox, with colourblind on in the fog of war. the country has "undefined?". in IE it just has "?" which is fine but it's hard to see in firefox what the countries that i should be able to see actually has.

Try disabling greasemonkey.

As these are not adjacent are you unable to see countries you can bombard eg the planes in ph ?

The "Jump to next playable game" link will be awesome, especially for the crazy guys that play 100 at once.

It is very difficult to see the difference between netural spaces and unknown spaces. I woud suggest you change the colour of one of them

Yes, it's no big deal. I just noticed it, that there was no link when you win a game in your turn. Just go back to My Games or click 1 of the games in your notifier and go on.

Jump to the next game option is GREAT. I haven't tried Fog of War yet, but it sounds realy interesting.

fog of war is great, but in the log where it says whats going on...I was attacked, but it doesnt say which territory was taken over.

It just says "username" attacked ? from ? from Merlin840.

could the first ? be changed to the territory that was hit?

The game I won did not have the link to my next game. I did have to jump back to "my games" to get to the next game. Not a big deal, but if you want the link there, then it is not. I just thought you wanted to give us time to do our victory dance before we moved on to our other games.
