It was pathetic. As was Inglorious Basterds.

OK, we seem to have a substantive disagreement. I thought the depiction of the extraordinary stress the fighting men in Hurt Locker went through, and how that affected their return home represents a untold facet of the war in Iraq. Sure, I've read the issues with some of the more technical things the movie didn't do well. Is the fact that a 50cal didn't make as big a boom as you might like your main quibble with that movie? Does that really make it "pathetic?" Dish on it, but it wasn't Armageddon. I also thought Basterds was fantastic, but this one first.

When you calculate in inflation, it doesn't come close. 1. Gone With the Wind, 2. Star Wars...21. Avatar. http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/adjusted.htm

Why is it when I change the adjuster dohickey to 1939, the year Gone With the Wind was realeased, it says that it made about 46 million adjusted out of it's near 200 million unadjusted? It's the case for all of them, really. Something tells me that this tool here isn't all that it claims to be, as there's obviously some funky math going on.
