This is no BS. About fifteen years ago, I lived in a large metro area. I rode my bicylcle to work twelve miles each way. This ride took me through neighborhoods of varying cultures. I would get called racist names and have things thrown at me just for being white and riding down certain streets. It just so happened that the fastest route took me down a street in a mexican neighborhood. The first time I went down it, a mexican guy came flying out of his house in his bare feet, chasing me, saying "Your ******* dead gringo!". I boogied down the road leaving him in the dust. That was the first time
I had experinced racism. I had to change up my route and only take that fast way once a week because he would be waiting for. It almost never failed. 90% of the times I rode down that street he would come out chasing me, sometimes throwing rocks and sometimes with a baseball bat. I eventually started having fun with it cause I knew there was no way he was gonna catch me(I was an expert street bmx rider). I would let him chase me and deplete his rock supply and as soon as he stopped running, I would ride circles in the street until he started chasing me again. I'd keep doing the same thing until he gave up. He would cuss me out, telling me I'm dead if he catches me. I never said a word to him, ever. I didn't know why he was doing it and I really didn't care. I accepted it as a fact of life and human nature that some people just don't like other races. There was gonna be no talking it out. I never cried about it or went to the police or called the ACLU(not like they'd care about racist attacks on a white guy). Anyway, the last time I went down that street,
two of them came flying out of the house, one with rocks and the other with a baseball bat. They apparently were watching up the street and came out with a good angle on me. I broke left, hopped the curb up onto the sidewalk behind a car on the opposite side of the street and they ran into echother just like the two-stooges and went down into the side of the car. Hahahahaha! It was totally awesome. I rode up the street about a hundred feet and started riding circles while they threw their rocks at me. Then his buddy came running after me and let me tell you, this little dude was fast and only missed grabbing me by about three inches. Oh the things they were yelling after this one

This was only the last time I ran the gaunlet of excitement and laughter because of the death threats I recieved from my co-workers in the 98% hispanic blacksmiths union in which I was an apprentice. They tried to jump me down the street from work one day after my shift. They went on strike with full pay benifits($19 hour) through the union while I made $7.00hr as a non-union apprentice. They expected me to stand next to them and starve and go homeless apparently. So I used my supreme cycling skills to escape their attack on me as well

The owner of the company(a white guy) began shuttling the rest of us to and from work after that until the strike ended and I had no choice but to quit due to death threats and threats of workplace "accidents".
So tell me all about racism.......
