You might have a change of mind once you've actually visited a bedroom other than your own.

Obamacare forcing contraception coverage, the policy of forcing others to pay for someone bad bedroom decisions, taxpayer money being used to hand out free condoms.....

The talking point of "what goes on in our bedroom's isn't anyone's business!" now has to be followed by "but the results of what goes on in our bedrooms is everyone else's responsibility/business!"

Isin't this move just requiring employer provided Insurance to cover contraceptives? and not some kind of masive free contraceptive program?

How is using a contraceptive a bad bedroom decision? Aren't contraceptives a measure to prevent bad bedroom decisions?

I thought the issue was more about people getting angry because government regulation will require religious organizations to be hypocritical, or at least counter-productive.

IIRC, they'd be legally required to subsidize procedures which go against Christian values (e.g. abortion, contraceptives, or ... is that it?).

From what i've read (which isin't much to be honest) the catholics are mad because this will require certain helth insurance providers run by the church to provide contraceptive coverage. Since every sperm is sacred that is a no no.

Anyways care to elaborate on what your grouching about this time scotty?

Does Obamacare require people to use contraception or just that it be covered by insurance?

America is one weird place.

Here you can go to your doctor and get enough rubbers to supply even the biggest of nymphos for a lifetime for about 3 bucks.

Exactly why you cannot truly object to this medical service being part of insurance.

The people who do object are those wanting to dictate behavior and to claim that their payments for employment give them the right to make very personal decisions for people they employ.

About like years ago when the boss pretty much told you to go to church.. or else. In fact, I can remember those days, to some extent.

WUT?

How about no insurance or individuals pay for someone else's contraception? Insurance providers, even religious ones, already have to provide contraceptive if it's used to treat medical conditions, so the only thing being achieved in this legislation is higher insurance costs and an assault on religion and the first amendment.

You know, it is possible to lose your virginity in your own bedroom. I'm talking biological possibilities here, I'm not offering odds in your case, but as a tip, women don't want to see a poster of The Gipper during foreplay.

It's not even purely about preventing pregnancies, by making contraceptives more widely available you greatly reduce STIs/ STDs.

Right, but this is only one piece of the overall picture. As we know, each piece as down slowly, over time, in ways that people do not notice. This isn't just about the Catholic thing, I'm going bigger picture with this, and pointing out the hypocrisy.

Woodruff, why do you want the government to dictate what products business must sell? Why do you want them to dictate what you buy? Why do you want them to dictate religious tenants to religious organizations? All of these are violations of the Constitution, so why do you label people like Phatscotty a hypocrite for wanting to be free?

Well, this one is easy...Phatscotty is a hypocrite because he only wants freedom for HIS issues...he's made that pretty clear.

At any rate, did you have any other strawmen you'd like to attach to this? Out of all of that, you really only addressed on thing I've actually said.

Where is freedom being violated by following the Constitution? The Constitution does not give the government the power to dictate any of those things, yet you disparage those who bring attention to it.
