The points are detailed in the first post, but I'll repeat them here for you. remember that different legs will have different numbers of players, for example, Leg 2 (Ireland to Scotland) is a series of 6 player games, not 4.
This will not be a ladder-style tourney, but rather a points-based scoring system.
4-Player games
- Game Winner: 25 pts.
- 2nd Place: 18 pts.
- 3rd Place: 12 pts.
- 4th Place: 5 pts.
6-Player games
- Game Winner: 25 pts.
- 2nd Place: 21 pts.
- 3rd Place: 17 pts.
- 4th Place: 13 pts.
- 5th Place: 9 pts.
- 6th Place: 5 pts.
8-Player games
- Game Winner: 25 pts.
- 2nd Place: 22 pts.
- 3rd Place: 19 pts.
- 4th Place: 16 pts.
- 5th Place: 13 pts.
- 6th Place: 10 pts.
- 7th Place: 7 pts.
- 8th Place: 5 pts.
Anyone who deadbeats out of a game will receive a "DNF" for that game, and no points.
In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be a best of 7 series which will consist of 1 game on each of the maps in the tournament, in order of tournament play, plus 1 to be determined randomly. If there are more than 2 players playing the tie-breaker, then the winner will be determined by the point system, above.
To achieve balance, first you must grow.
To grow, first you must learn.
To learn, first you must listen.
To listen, first you must shut the hell up.
