oh and once its tested and such
I was thinking of having a game with myself, you, Bad Speler, Andy, Lack, and Coleman.

I still think we need to get more hyphens out of this map... I'll let Battleship go - but please can we try to get rid of the rest?
How?
Advertising -> Ads
Feed- -> Feed
Back --> Back
Dead- -> Dead
beat ---> Beat
Score- ->Score
board -> Board
Also - I just noticed - "Score" & "Score-board" are too close to each other!
And - the small has horizontal names - the large has vertical names!?

1) Abbreviating EVERYTHING might not be the best idea, but I dunno...
2) Dunno about the vertical names, they were horizontal before.
3) Score and Scoreboard are close because the 'Go together'. You're right, it may lead to problems.

The text in the legend is poorly formatted and a bit hard to understand. I think it should be pretty easy to look at a map and size it up in less than a minute, and you shouldn't have to read the legend to figure out what territories border each other. DeadBeat, Web Hosting, Advertising and Shop Purchase should border each other for a reason, not just because the legend says so. And I don't understand how territories can be a part of more than one continent... which territories?
The images are a bit weak. The card is dull (rectangle with a border?), the dice look wrong. The advertising image is, well, I don't know what it is. If they were stylized and funny looking that would be fine, but as is they just look like they were put together quickly.
The red on blue is a bad combination. The red pops out against the blue background and plays with my eyes.
i don't mean to be a hater, as I'll say again that I like this map. I just think it lacks finish.

rebelman wrote:The map itself has no character or style that sets it apart it is in effect too boring - where are the men, the dice, houses , hotels, the money etc. that could bring this map alive ?
rebelman wrote:The legend looks wishy washy and again totally lacks character it looks more like a leaflet in a doctors surgery than a legend for what should be a cool map
rebelman wrote:The blue in the middle is awful and again in no way reflects the kind of look this map should have. The same is true of the two toned logo which could look so much better.
rebelman wrote:The two decks colour wise are probably ok but surely these could have been made more 3D to reflect they are decks
rebelman wrote:The territory names look shocking those hyphons have to go and it just has the feel of someone shouting in chat with all those capital letters in that boring font.
rebelman wrote:Outside of graphics the gameplay is also very flawed in my opinion the pink continent involves 6 countries with at least 7 external borders this gets a bonus of 4. Dark green has only 3 borders (i know it also has decay) and also gets 4. You be trying to eminate the game in that the further around the board the higher the bonus - i agree with that idea but not when you have such insanely diverse terrs. getting the same bonus.
rebelman wrote:Honestly guys this is nothing against any of you and I thought long and hard before making this post but I do believe the time has come to shout "hold on a minute" I know you guys have the capability to make a great map and this theme is a winner but this map is miles away from being where it needs to be. If this post gets you guys to look at this again then I believe in the long run you will want to thank me as seriously guys you do not that want this map quenched at the moment looking and playing the way it does.
Coleman wrote:The only reason this remains in Final Forge is because I refuse to send maps backwards in the production cycle... Final Forge is not a defense against implementing changes.
