Id advise redoing army circles so that there 22px in diameter, adn make sur there centered properly. Did i send you that tutorial?

the coordinate generator is only an estimate, the rest has to be done by hand.

in the xml document

sorry was offline today but im back now thanks for posting as i suggested - i can read all but several as i suspected are a struggle - i would recommend changing slightly those already mentioned be my learned colleague, if it was up to me i would recommend you change several others as well as although readable they are a huge struggle.

This map in its current draft which i assume is still a distance away from its final one is easily the most unfriendly towards those of us with less than perfect eyesight. The legend is almost unreadable and the map maker already posted he refuses to fix it and there are multiple terrs that are clashing with army numbers and again the map maker has refused to adress this - i hope this map is never quenched with these huge issues not addressed, if it is quenched in this format after the issues being highlighted in advance it will be a two fingered salute to those of us with poor eyesight on this site. I really wish you and the other map makers would consider those of us with inferior eye sight when making your maps in future, if i had my choice no map with clashing colours would ever be quenched until it was changed and if parts of the map are almost illegible again it should not be quenched.

To summarise if these core gameplay issues are not addressed this map should not be quenched. (a map where you can't make out the legend or your army numbers should never ever enter live play)

agreed with rebelman, such concerns for people with lesser eyesight must be addressed otherwise this map will NOT be quenched.

not true - i and others have pointed out the clashing problem and the legend in the last few pages (you don't have to go that far back) and you made it clear you were not going to change and we should use greasemonkey i could go quoting me and others and the replies you gave us but it would be far easier for you just to read this thread and take on board the constructive criticism you are given - as thats how the foundry is meant to work I believe.

Heres a summary for simplicity though:

Most/all territories in the teal, blue, red and purpley pink areas are a problem do i need to list them all ?

As for the legend the snooker balls are very difficult to make out and the map and writing need some work

The problem I see is that the army circles are too close to the color of the territory. I'm not sure if this is rebelman's concern too, but what's the point of army circles if they're barely going to make a difference? Army circles are supposed to be used when the color of territories on a map is too close to that of the army numbers, which is pretty much what you have here. So basically, my suggestion is to make the circles less transparent, so the army numbers will be easier to see.
And I'm not colorblind. :)

Also, the numbers on the legend and the flag behind it don't go too well with the rest of the map. Maybe making the flag less blurry would help.

I agree that the color-clashing is a problem. They have to be obvious to anyone. I don't want to have to squint to see army numbers.

I also agree that reducing the transparency would fix the problem.

I'm not sure what the dispute is about here. It just seems the creator didn't respond very nicely to criticism and now everyone is sulking. You people do realise there is a colourblind army setting.... I use this all the time.

Just because there is a colorblind setting isnt a logical rebuttal to sound advise. The reason for the color blind setting of for people who have an issues differentiating between the colors of th army numbers themself, mostly for red/green colorblindness.

classic map was not a foundry production and is not related to the discussion at hand.

Just because you can read it doesnt mean the other 20 thousand users can.

Loan im trying my best to help you but you jsut seem to be lazy and would rather argue. The changes you have been asked to do would take little more that 5 mins of your time and then this map would probably be on the home straight for quench.

The balls in your court, whats it going to be?

The colors are chosen with a reason, and if people can read blue armies on the classic map they can read this.
