honestly the last thing i want to do is get involved in negative debate and actually i agree with you that this thread those have a svery negative undertone that's not good for the site. AA I have made it very clear that you are not a snob if anything you are the direct opposite, i know you play open games and im also aware of your invites to me in the past.

As I mentioned already this sites real snobs have totally steered clear of this thread and im not going to name and shame but they know who they are.

As for the captain games I'm a huge advocate of them and i never said people that play these games are snobs.

I actually hate the word snob in general - but i have clearly outlined above what I see as snobbery.

I wasnt arguing my point against you. You always make a rational point. You have every right to want higher ranked players to join your games.... Im really just trying to keep everyone honest here... People play the games that they have fun with... of course some of them are snobs, and some of them are saints, but complaining about it and labeling a group is just wrong. Its just a silly thread, with no use whatsoever... it can only cause friction, and result in more separation and resentment...

If someone really wanted a change, they could approach it like waccicha and offer those who want instruction, some advice. Otherwise, all this is is players venting. If you go down the scoreboard and take each person individually, you would never call them a snob. You are hiding behind the word snob. Players can play what they want.

I just wish the snobbery would stop in this community.I have never refused to play anyone because of rank.If I did then I would properly still have a crown.The crown would be worthless though.
If you can't play all of conquerclub,then it tends to limit our horizons.
Still thats just me.
I can understand why you wouldnt want to play deadbeats,but thats where my understanding comes to a close.
I'm sorry if this offends some of you,but its how I feel.

This was my opening statement..Its not meant to cause friction.That has never been my intention.
Emotions runs high when you feel strongly about something.
This subject could make a postive step to letting every player have a go with players that may be a little sharper.
Thats what I was hoping for at the out set.I will continue to play public games .I think this should be promoted...I dont think like for like ranks should live inside a bubble and never see the new players rising up the ranks either...Its just not healthy

Eh, if it wasnt for the title, its a benign post and clearly not intentionally negative beyond the use of the word snob. Slightly tweaked as a request for players to play more open games could even have been viewed as a service.

Quite frankly even having ranks is snobbery in its worst form. Pomposity reigns supreme here...QED my name (the worst word I could think of to follow rank.)

I was told the other day to stop telling senior ranks how to play in a team game (this was after one missed my giving them forces to secure Oz and gave them back to me !!!!) Pompous...yes...self righteous...yes....self important...yes..

Senior ranks????? please, do me a favour...

really gets my dander up.. it says to me all at once: "you idiot, you really are beneath me... you are not even worth the words it takes me to express the contempt i feel at what you just said."

KOE sirius you best to let it go m8. players are always going to complain on something, you cant win, lol, i mean if the best play public, they take advantage of noobs you say, if the best play the best, then they just high rollers and egotistical, if they play singles only, they only play the highest in private and scared to in public, if they play teams, they stink at singles, if they play freestyle, they suck at sequential, if they play speed they are awful in 24 games, and on and on i mean, you can argue all these points til the cows come home, oh I hear a moo, brb

4)I play a lot of tourneys which are known to have much lower ranks in them and less higher ranks.
5) I do not play triples and/or specialise in one map to skim noobs there points.
