John Belushi beats Will Farrell

Notable sketches:
Samurai ________ [Hotel, Delicatessen, Bakery, etc.]
The "Little Chocolate Donuts" Commercial
The Blues Brothers (Spawned from his "King Bee Blues")

Hell, all of the original 1975 cast (especially Gilda Radner) beat every subsequent cast, end of story.

mmmmmm, you bring a point of John Belushi and Radner, but I havent watched too much of theirs.

My Favorite Sketches EVER: Celebrity Jeopardy, Will Ferrell is the Guitar-playing Devil, Chris Farley Chippendale's, Will Ferrell Axis of Evil, JJ Casuals and finally Night at the Roxbury (but the movie was better)

yeah but it's gone downhill in recent years. Ever since Chris Kattan and Will Ferrel left it hasn't been as good. Jimmy Fallon kept it from completely sinking for a while but once he left it was all but dead. Thank god for the Nunies that skit series might have saved the show. I like the actor who plays Mr. Nuni but I can't remember his name.

all the sketches were really long in the new show last saturday, Iguess it was because the cast is smaller with the funding cuts. I still liked it :D :)

Its the longest running comedy series in the US. It has been on since the 70s and it is composed of skits performed before a live audience. Each week it will have a guest host who will perform in the skits with the regulars and a musical group who needless to say provides musical entertainment.
