well i wud of supported serbia to be honest but considering the kosovars have suffered a genocide by the hands of the serbs and milosevic i think kosovo has every right to claim independence from serbia. and like i said again we have another allie in the balkans

the same as we didnt support ireland during there famine they had a right to claim independence which they did

Well, the US Embassy was attacked over this issue. What is your feelings on that? I had a feeling something like that would happen. Was anybody hurt in the attack? It was an arson, right? I don't think anyone was hurt, but it doesn't help matters any that the US under Clinton bombed the living crap out of them.

The Embassy was attacked by Kosovan Serbs (I believe) who do not want independence from Serbia. The US is supporting independence.

Embassy is in Beograd, so it was attacked by Serbs (not just Kosovan Serbs). Also a lot of different embassies were attacked (German, Brazilian, Croatian - although Croatia didn't recognize Kosovo jet!). Police stooped no one and there was a public rally that turned to plunder of shops in Beograd's center.

No it was done in last couple of days. Most of the time police withdrew because "they were outnumbered". Even one of the protesters died in the fire that they started in US Embassy. No one of Serbian political leaders shown any remorse for this.

Good. At least that's one European people with some iron left in their blood. Patriots accross Europe had better brace themnselves for when Muslim majorities in their countires try to secede Kosovo today, Marseilles tomorrow...Ils n'auront pas, l'Alsace et la Lorraine!

Our financial links with Serbia are good. It's one of the countries we export the most (1 billion euros, and that's about 1/33 of Croatian budget). So I can understand why we don't want to rush things and provoke Serbs into another war or ethnic confrontation. Our government basically plays the card "keep it cool and wait till most of the Europe recognizes independent Kosovo".

Exactly! We don't need another confrontation. Most of the people just want to forget what happened 17 to 12 years ago.

btw No word about UK embassy. Croatian and US embassy is in center of Beograd so maybe that's the reason they were attacked and UK wasn't.

Not everything is about religion, Nappy. There are many issues surrounding this declaration, but a bizarre pan-Islamic conspiracy to subvert Christian Europe is not one of them. You're sounding like Xtra more and more every day. What's next? Linking articles from Infowars? Badly-produced Youtube clips about NWOs?

You're a joke on these forums, Nappy. Literally a joke. A caricature of the most stereotypical immature and extremist right winger with no experience of the real world that we could imagine. Those reasonable posters who espouse right wing opinions, even fairly extreme ones, see you as a benchmark for everything they don't want to be, the way they don't want to come across and typical of the extremism that harms Conservativism in general. Those on the left find you annoying, yappy and lacking any substance other than wordy yet empty denunciations of topics you have no real-world experience of. All the worst bits of Jay and Xtra combined, mixed in with a dollop of misinformed and potentially harmful political opinion. A paranoid, deluded child filled with empty ideology. I take comfort in the fact that the students I come in to contact with, even those with fairly extreme right wing views, are absolute nothing like you.

A little bit of pre-match tension there Jizz?

Or what? I'm sorry, did you think you could make me roll up into a ball and cry because you manage to say I'm an extremeist and that you don't like me very much? Did you really think I'd suddenly say to myself : oh no, a histoiran on an online gaming site said I'm deluded so it must be true! I'm worthless! Boo-hoo...I'm now psychologically distraught!

Since we're going to argue orthography, Nappy, you misspelt 'historian'.

My Kosovo

Postby milosel5104 on Sat Feb 23, 2008 5:42 pm

Kosovo is a heart of Serbia!

Serbia is rightfull owner of Kosovo and Metohija, by International and by God's law! Kosovo is foundry of Serbia for more than 1200 years...
The Albanians mass-migrated here in search for a better life which Serbia gave them. They are now in 80% there because they made exodus of non-Albanic people(not just serbs). Now with support of US they wont to make their own state. This ain't gonna happend.
If kosovo gets independence, there shall be WW3. I'm for a peacefull solution, but only way for peace is that kosovo stays in Serbia.

IF WE ARE GOING TO LIVE,WE ARE GOING TO LIVE IN FREEDOM AND PEACE,OR IF WE ARE GOING TO DIE,WE SHALL DIE FIGHTING FOR THAT FREEDOM!
