No Pilsner for you? That's all I drank in Alberta.

And of course you can't go wrong with the other Canadian Pilsner:

Steamwhistle (Ontario, Pilsner, 5%)

Only 4 ingredients - spring water, malted barley, hops and yeast

Delicious!

Both of my choices are brewed entirely within walking distance of my house. I never do without!

Unfortunately I don't live THAT close to a brewery. The closest one to me is Brewster's, but they don't bottle their beer. You can only get it in a restaurant, or in a keg.

Whenever I hold a party I go for the keg of Flying Frog Lager.

I have not tried much from these guys.

I did get given a bottle of the christmas special spiced mead. Wasn't really my thing, it was good, reminded me of the one time I managed to get a Zima. What ever happened to that stuff?

I don't know why but sometimes I love this stuff. It's kind of like the girl move of putting some junk in your lager, tomatoe juice, orange soda pop, or what ever.

Aprikat Wheat Ale

Ahh...the smell of fresh apricots in the morning..oh wait..in a bottle!

Try our spin on the traditional wheat ale. We have turned this wheat ale into a fruity delight with Apricot extracts. This Aprikat pours a nice straw colour with a subtle aroma of apricots but with a big fruity mouthfeel. This light “cooler” is perfect with lighter dishes or as a nice after-dinner beer.

I am not big on Blue...

But Labatt 50 is an excellent ale.

Also, Labatt Crystal is a good beer on a hot summer day....get it really cold...it is crisp and very refreshing with a pleasant taste. It used to have a more consistent taste because they used water from Waterloo, Ontario exclusively to brew it...when they started to put it in cans way back when, the only canning line was in London, Ontario and they would ship Waterloo water down the 401 highway in tankers to London to keep the consistent flavour. That cost too much though, and now the Waterloo plant is closed...so the consistent flavour is history...

Labatt used to have an India Pale Ale called....Labatt I.P.A....it was awesome, but they stopped making it about 10-15 years ago....not enough market share I guess...

They also just stopped brewing Labatt Classic a few years ago which was expensive but good.

Try Labatt 50.

As others have said, Creemore's is a good beer.

The Brick makes several good brews. http://www.brickbeer.com/

Sleeman Cream Ale is good http://www.sleeman.com/en/html/beer/sl_ ... /index.htm

There are so many micro breweries around....hard to mention all the decent brews from them...
