just noticed.... all antartican territories are connected to another continent, which will make it impossible to hold
Would you choose supremecy if it lead to isolation?

So far from what I've seen, it's simply a rehash of the classic with a few sporadic lines drawn in along with a few added countries. I'm not sure those few things are enough to warrant a new map.

It's too similar to Classic. And if you really want to follow it, make Great Britain into British Isles unless you want to be lynched by the Irish. And what the heck is Olkiqtaluk? In the real world it's called Nunavut. I agree 100% with andy. This is the classic map+canadian provinces and random islands. You even put Afghanistan in India and Multistan in Afghanistan, just like the classic map. Your graphic skills are good but should not be wasted on a map that will almost certainly be rejected. (Sorry if I sound like Marvaddin :) )

you guys should make a pole to see if people like it or not.

Not to mention, as you make it better and better, more people will like it

Also, I like it because you can get placese easier on this map and continents are super easy to hold (australia) or pretty cheap (S.A)

however, I believe in this map, the number of countries in asia should be cut down.. perhaps iliminate irkutsk or ural.. i don't know (or both)

i like the additions of new zealand and antarctica and the phlippines. I think the hawaii - japan connection is a good connection, but hawaii is also miniscule and not important. Its like making a connection from florida to brazil through the bahamas

the value of australia, S. America and Africa seriously need to be upped. Coutries should be given value based on difficulty to defend and difficulty of obtaining all the territories. Those 3 countries were only worth so little in the original because they were easy to defend and obtain.

This map will be bullshit to play if those are not fixed.

besides that, looks good :P

This really seems like a waste of your effort in my eyes, especially with the new world map that is being made. I don't think we need 3 different maps of the same area, even if the # of countries, continents and connections in this way is slightly different.

New Map - Classic Supremacy Poll

Postby gideonkraus on Mon Oct 23, 2006 6:56 am

I want to know whether you want me to go ahead and create Classic Supremacy.

If in the next week the yes, maybe and if you make changes out-weigh the no's then I will go ahead and carry on making the map.

I think if you've developed this map, your skills are better used on something that will garner more attention and plays.

Gideon and I no longer have plans to create maps, as he has been suspended for apparently creating multiple accounts without any real explanation or any proper appeal process.

this map is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the accuracy one, i make sure i play each game at least once and i can guarantee id play the other one once just to say i did, and this one over and over. classic is my favorite. i like world maps more. this one is totally AWESOME. although antactica should be worth a little more. but thats my opinion. i think we should have this one. i love it.
