Let's go for McCain because he will totally not do any of that or continue it. (Also, he's a warveteran and POW so he's better than anyone.)

Honestly though, are there any McCain supporters on here that can tell me what type of Cancer McCain has? I heard on GCN radio that 90% of the time this cancer will come back after 10 years, and be fatal. McCain had been treated 8 years ago, and so far as the public knows, it hasn't returned. But I am unable to figure out what cancer he actually has, and I searched it. Anyone?

The reason I will not vote for Obama is because I think he has an incorrect view on the war on terror. He believes that our efforts in Iraq are actually encouraging terrorism. He wants to pull us out of Iraq just when we are really starting to deal some serious blows against Al-Quaeda. At a time when our economy is hurting he still wants to raise taxes on the very top wage earners of the country: the very people who invest, take risks, and employ others. His choice of friends such as Jeremiah Wright shows he makes poor decisions in what kind of people he takes advice from.

People are going to try to make the case that we can't vote for McCain simply because he's old. They will also try to say he's stupid or senile. Well, it's not like Obama is exactly a beacon of intelligence. He said that he had visited all 57 states in the country. He also said something else that was rather stupid on Memorial Day of this year when he said that he saw many of the fallen heroes right there in the audience. He has also tried to claim that his uncle helped liberate Auschwitz. So when you hear people try to make McCain look stupid just remember that Obama is saying some pretty stupid things and he's still relatively young. How much worse will it be when Obama gets older?

What i find disturbing is how we are going to elect somebody who is so obviously inexperienced as Barack Obama.

From the time that he was sworn in as a Senator to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploration committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to become Commander in Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Lincoln, FDR, JFK, and Reagan.

Let's take a look at the opposite end of the spectrum shall we?

McCain has 26 years in Congress, 22 years in military service, and spent more than 5 years in captivity as a POW in Hanoi.

John McCain has a type of skin cancer called Melanoma, and I believe that it is in stage 2. However, some top skin-cancer experts have stated that "The chance that Sen. John McCain’s melanoma will return is less than 10%"

OK, I'd like to know one thing, and if anyone can explain that would be great.

Why, during his term as an Illinois State Senator did he vote "present" more than 130 times on bills that discussed crime, guns and abortion instead of taking a stand by voting "yes" or "no"?

How does someone who not only doesn't vote and only sponsored one bill through the Senate be an advocate for change when he didn't use his terms to effect change?

Uhm For real, this is a valid question, and seriously this has been twice conveniently avoided...please answer my question, because I dont' think that anyone can support someone who, well, uhm, er, has a position of power and simply apathetically does nothing about it...

I'll repeat for what seems like the thousandth time:

Nixon had plenty of experience. So did LBJ, and Hoover.

But Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, JFK, even Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton had virtually none.

So much for experience, huh?

What are you talking about? Reagan was governor of California for 8 years and Clinton served as Attorney General and then Governor of Arkansas for over 10 years.
Teddy Roosevelt was a New York City Police Commissioner, Assistant Secretary of the Navy, a military leader in a war, Governor of New York, and Vice-President. Kennedy was a PT boat commander, then he was a congressman for 6 years, and even later a U.S. senator for 8 more years. Lincoln served in the Illinois House of Representatives for 8 years, was a U.S. congressman for 2 years, and was a successful lawyer who argued cases in front of the Illinois Supreme Court.

It's not like you even need to go beyond wikipedia to find all that out. It's basic stuff.

Is it probable that Obama had not read the bills? Or was he playing politician?

And is it just me, or are you all deluded about McCain/Obama??? BOTH have been endorsed by the TRILLATERAL COMMISSION!!!!!!!!!!! They have already sold out. Who cares what they say there views are? It's like the banks, pharmaceutical, and oil companies have picked the challengers. It is a false choice, because they represent the same people. McCain didn't even know the difference between sjiites and soennites (or however you spell them) when he was in Iraq a few months ago.

Anyway, I'd like to know about these "serious blows" against Al-Quaeda as I haven't read anything about it. I also like to know how invading a country full of people who don't really like you doesn't encourage terrorism. You do realise you're confirming what the terrorists said about you, don't you?
At a time when our economy is hurting he still wants to raise taxes on the very top wage earners of the country: the very people who invest, take risks, and employ others.

Actually, I remember he merely wants to turn back the tax-cuts by bush which McCain wants to make permanent.
People are going to try to make the case that we can't vote for McCain simply because he's old.
