Yeah ok. I got the basic meaning of it. 8-)

It's actually how I came to beleive in God. :D

What was your point again? :?

I just dont think its a good way to decide to believe in God. Nothing more or nothing less.

Also first meeting of tonkaism will be put on a calendar or something.

I don't think it's a good way either because it seems like a sucking up way to do it. Deciding to beleive just so I don't go to hell. But you know what, after making that decision with the mind, it's grown into something I beleive with all my heart.

So yes it might not be the most noble way to decide but what other way to decide is there for a non beleiver? :?

Alright well I haven't read the latest debate here, but I have a message for all you doubters out there in CC-land. Here is an excerpt from a song by Stellar Kart...

Tell me what do you believe in
Does your life have rhyme or reason
Something in your heart that makes you care
I hope that you don't mind me asking
But I have got a burning passion
I need to know forever you'll be there

I can't make it clearer
Put it any other way
If you can't see the simple truth I do
Then there's nothing in this world that's left to say
But jesus loves you

I know I don't have all the answers
And I have wasted many chances
To prove to you a faith that lives inside
I'm praying there will be a breakthrough
Cause I can't be the one to save you
God knows how many times I've tried

I can't explain
But I can't deny
So many times for you I've cried

Oh believe me the curls at least are real. As a kid, I hated them. Did you ever hear the nonsense that grown-ups tell you to make you eat your crusts (not sure if this is just a Cockney thing) - "you'll never have curly hair unless you eat the crusts"?

Well, I love crusts, but spent most of my childhood avoiding them 'cos it might make my hair go straight!

It's definitely an interesting proposition and not one you could totally discount out of hand. I'll grant you that. All I'm saying is that you probably heard that from someone else without even knowing the source behind it.

Well, I've experienced it without knowing the source of the theory. ;)

I can't beleive it's actually a theory. I think of it as common sense. :?

I also think it makes sense especially when you consider that a non beleiver is going to make their decision with the mind. I honestly don't see any other way. 8-)

Afterall Pascal's Wager is the same thought process that I went through. ;)

Gentlemen, It should never be agreeable to put words in anothers mouth. Debate or disagree to your hearts content, but I feel that this was cheap. Don't sell yourselves short!

I'm sure he's the same old Jay.

It's just that his eyes are open now. ;)

You see. This is what God is talking about when he says the blind will see and the def will hear. God doesn't mean in the literal sense. He's talking about knowledge and understanding by people who at one time posessed neither. ;)

Pretty good for pop-rock. But I prefer something more heavy.

That's also a christian band, btw.

Jay has been an uber-Christian as long as I've known him.

I felt that he had interpreted it unfairly. Was I wrong there? I apologize if I was.
